Michael Lane, Executive Director

Michael Lane serves as the Executive Director of the Vidalia Housing Authority, where he leads with a deep passion for community, service, and compassionate leadership. Drawing from a diverse background that includes more than a decade in sales, marketing, and branding—as well as ten years of service as a full-time youth pastor—Michael brings a unique blend of vision, empathy, and communication skills to his role.

Under his leadership, the Authority continues its mission to provide safe, affordable housing and foster vibrant neighborhoods within the community he has grown to love. Beyond his work at VHA, Michael remains actively engaged in community service, serving on the Boards of the Toombs-Montgomery-Wheeler United Way and the Downtown Vidalia Association. His dedication to both the residents of the Vidalia Housing Authority and the greater community reflects his lifelong commitment to making a positive and lasting impact.

Delorice Poole, Office Administrator

Delorice Poole serves as the Office Administrator for the Vidalia Housing Authority, where she plays a vital role in supporting both applicants and residents with dedication and care. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail, Delorice ensures that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Her warm, welcoming personality fosters positive relationships with residents, community members, and staff alike. Always willing to go above and beyond, Delorice exemplifies the Authority’s commitment to providing outstanding service and creating a supportive environment for all who call Vidalia Housing Authority home.

Jeff Olszewski, Maintenance Mechanic

Jeff Olszewski has been a dedicated member of the Vidalia Housing Authority team for more than 15 years, bringing exceptional skill and commitment to his role as Maintenance Mechanic. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Jeff continues his service to the community by ensuring that residents’ homes are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. His technical expertise, professionalism, and unwavering dependability make him an invaluable asset to the Authority. There is no task too challenging or issue too urgent for Jeff—he approaches every situation with precision, care, and a deep sense of responsibility to the families we serve.

Curtis Wheeler, Maintenance Mechanic

Curtis Wheeler joined the Vidalia Housing Authority team in November and is the newest member of our maintenance staff. He brings many years of hands-on experience and a diverse skill set that position him well to support our residents and uphold the high standards of care we strive to provide. Curtis is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality workmanship in every task he undertakes. His willingness to step in where needed and his dedication to tenant satisfaction make him a valuable addition to the Authority and an important part of our mission to provide safe, well-maintained housing for the families we serve.
